They have an immediate requirement for a well experienced Head of Engineering, who once proven will become Technical Director.
Ideally you will have at least five years experience of running and managing a multi disciplinary engineering/technical department within an electronics or IT hardware company.
Experienced budget setter and holder to a minimum level of $500K annual.
Consultative / solution orientated technical experience in an industrial B2B market sector with an industrial computing, electronics, IT or technology related background.
Proven ability in the preparation and presentation of professional and persuasive technical proposals in response to tenders and RFP/RFQ?s.
Experience in setting up, maintaining and working in a professional and structured methodology aligned to ISO:9001 standard.

Our client is a very well established manufacturer of bespoke ruggedized industrial IT equipment focusing on a number of areas including defence, government, aviation etc.. After considerable success they have recently expanded the company including in the sales area and therefore now require a Head of UK Sales.
Responsibilities and package
The successful candidate will be managing a sales team of four field sales people, plus four internal sales people including an internal sales manager. You will carry your own target for which you will get paid uncapped commission; your team will also be targeted and when successful you will be paid a fixed bonus of £20k per annum as well. In addition there is a car allowance and equity package. The company is being groomed for IPO and if successful you will be a part of this and progress to UK Sales Director in due course.
Requirements
You will be an accomplished sales manager/director with plenty of experience of managing high performing sales teams. You will also be a top performing sales person in your field. You will have experience of selling within a high tech industry, preferably industrial IT, but other areas would be considered, although not retail. Experience of selling solutions, especially bespoke solutions a considerable advantage if not essential. Based in London, they have a new vacancy as Ticketing Director. This is basically a hands on Sales Director position managing a small sales team and also leading by example bringing on new clients across the country.
