The sales Director will be personally responsible for generating new transponder sales and channel partnerships for the first and subsequent satellites, generating new European partner channels for existing satellite broadband and data services. You would need excellent demonstrable experience of Direct Marketing will proven results, from within a company of 50-200 employees (corporate experience is not acceptable on it's own as you will need hands on experience of working in a smaller company environment and the associated dynamics). Experience of the Internet hosting sector is very desirable although a good knowledge of it would be okay. You will be highly intelligent, preferably a graduate. You must know about selling technology products to technology businesses. Above all you will be results orientated, very successful, an experienced professional with personality and the ability to inspire confidence in others.

Sales EMEA, with 3 direct reports of regional sales directors your responsibility will be to open up new markets within the more far flung areas of EMEA. We are in effect looking for the Indiana Jones of mobile telecoms, not afraid to break into unchartered waters! You must have at least 5 years successful experience of selling preferably hardware to commercial people within telecoms operators. You will have experience of working for a fairly small organisation, those with only large corporate experience need not apply. If you have worked for Palm, blueberry, RF Telecom or perhaps a smart card company like Gemplus, Schlumberger etc.. then you could be what we are after. Language skills a plus. In return you will receive an excellent package with huge earnings potential up to around £180k uncapped plus stock options. You must live near Reading.
